Well done Solo entries! Lots of creativity and fresh faces! Thank you for joining our Solo Discover You Online Poster Contest! Since the contest officially ended on December 15, we shall disable all the voting functions, however, we still do welcome all comments that come in for the entries.
Watch out for the unveiling of the new faces of Solo early next year! Happy Holidays and Happy Shopping!
You look familiar... Are you a model?
Sige na, kayo na ang magaling! I Love Eeet!
Sana wala nalang yung wagon. yun lang ang mukhang naligaw na design.
hi hazel,
the wagon was meant to add layers of depth (in the spatial
sense). if you didn't notice, there are several elements in the
poster that interweave (meaning, design element A is
placed on top of design element B, while on some places,
element B is on top of element A).
it just so happened that the specific wagon in question was
meant to (and was the only background element) that
"interacted" with the actual model. (because the solo logo is
considered as a foreground element).
this was intentional to provide a curious oddness to an
otherwise harmonious color and design placement. if this
poster were a sheet of music, think of the wagon as a sudden
syncopated beat. :)
Why you put a wagon on the top of the arm? for what purpose??? Looks like a big mistake!
Okay naman yung wagon na nakapatong, it's just all about a person's perception or--- basta lng may ma comment at mahanap na mali, sige banat lang. tsk tsk :)
rosemarie, to answer your question:
its a wagon. it's included in the solo design pack, and as far
as i know, no one else has used that specific design element
in their posters.
its not the first time that someone has pointed out that
there's something "wrong" with how it was placed over her
arm.
if you're more comfortable with that element being in the
background, then so be it. but i would rather dare, challenge,
and make people question their own preconceived concepts
of "design"-- its a key element in the poster, only if you can
keep an open mind.
Ano po yung nakapatong sa isang arm??? Mali po yata pagkakagawa.
pretty colors. :) very candy-like. nice editing too, but relaxed shoulders would have done the trick.
Master iboboto kita ^:)^
love the colors!
ang ganda ng smile mo...promise!
gotta love the photo...
cute ^_^
its me net ^_^ i mean obviously ahahah love the photo po...mmmm
puro naman po kayo sagutan... sana bumoto na lang kau and respect the comments of others... all of us have biases xempre... pero the best will have to win... remember, 60% of the criteria is up to SOLO...
Good luck Jo and Arvin :)
good luck joan :)
GL Sig~! (^3^)/
i dont find anything wrong with the poster. its probably just that you just cant appreciate or dont understand what that detail is trying to achieve. all other so-called "critiques" are shallow, and therefore not even worth considering.
i think the colors blend well-- simple, subtle, effective. this goes to show that vintage does not always have to be light brown, brown, and dark brown. vogue also doesn't always necessary mean glam and couture, if that's what some people are trying to point out.
Too small discover you text. Wrong overlapping image.
honestly, ikaw pinaka bagay maging model. haha
Awesome photo, Joan and Arvin! Goodluck!
Excellent! You can do it!

WHAT IS THAT ON THE HAND?
BAKIT YOU WILL CATCH UP?
TAAS AGAD NG VOTE!
tsk! i like!:-)
I like the way the foreground melts into the background in perfect subtlety. I like the poster compels you to look... the center.. and slowly, everywhere else. Like becoming aware only after you get desensitized.
Great job. Kudos to artist and model. You'll go a long way.
hi miss j0an..grace here...nice shot.. :)
it's just violet, not vintage and i don't see the vogue concept!
